When technology stops, work stops

A printer that will not connect, an account nobody can get into, a laptop that takes ten minutes to start. Individually they are small. Together they quietly consume hours every week, and they usually land on whoever in the office is considered "good with computers".

We take that work off your team. You get one place to send problems and a person who answers, follows through, and tells you in plain language what happened.

What support covers

  • Day-to-day help desk

Staff report a problem by email or phone and get a reply from someone who knows your setup.

  • On-site visits

For anything that cannot be fixed remotely, we come to you across New Jersey and the New York metro area, and we travel further for planned work.

  • Computer and device setup

New machines arrive configured, updated, and ready for the person who will use them.

  • Accounts and access

Joiners, leavers and password resets handled properly, so former staff do not keep access.

  • Updates and backups

Security updates applied and backups checked, so a failed hard drive is an inconvenience rather than a disaster.

  • Vendor wrangling

We deal with your internet provider, software vendors and equipment suppliers so you do not have to.

How support works

  1. Review

We look at what you have: devices, accounts, software, and what breaks most often.

  2. Agree the terms

Hours of cover, response targets and cost, written down before anything starts.

  3. Support

Your team reports problems one way, and we handle them through to a fix.

  4. Report back

You see what is being fixed repeatedly, and what would stop it recurring.

Example engagements

Illustrations of the kind of work this service covers, not descriptions of past clients.

  • Example

A small office with no IT staff

A twelve-person firm where the office manager had become the accidental IT department. Support moves that work to us, and gives staff one address to write to.

  • Example

    Backup for an internal team

A one-person IT department that cannot cover holidays or a busy period. We take the routine requests so the internal specialist can stay on project work.

Common questions

Do you charge per hour or a fixed monthly fee?

Both are available. A fixed monthly fee suits organizations that want predictable costs and steady cover. Hourly suits occasional needs. We will tell you which is likely to cost you less.

Do you work with Windows and Mac?

Yes, along with the services built around them, such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.

How quickly do you respond?

Response targets are agreed with you in writing before support starts, and they depend on the cover you choose. We would rather commit to a target we can meet than quote a number that sounds impressive.

Can you work with our existing IT provider?

Yes. We can cover a specific area, such as accessibility or automation, and coordinate with whoever handles the rest.
